The herbicide Foxtrot®
In 2009, Cheminova introduces the herbicide Foxtrot® in Denmark. Foxtrot® is especially used for controlling wild oat. Now, Cheminova has a product portfolio consisting of five products for use in cereal crops in Denmark.
- I have great expectations to the sale of this product which in several tests both in Denamrk and abroad has shown to be safe to cereal crops – including winter barley which is often very sensitive, says Tage Knudsen, sales responsible in Denmark.
Foxtrot® - A result of Cheminova’s development activities
The product development of Foxtrot® is based on a very innovative idea resulting in earlier market access than would have been possible with the existing and patent protected technology.
New products and continued growth for products introduced over the past few years will play an important part in a succesful fulfilment of the growth target in Cheminova’s Business Plan ”Five-in-Fifteen” about doubling the global market share to 5% in 2015.
